Barbara Anne Dunn
I grew-up in Boulder, Colorado, where the magnificent Rocky Mountains rise-up to meet the Great Plains. Being surrounded by natural beauty and the wide open spaces of the West instilled a lifelong love for it, its lifestyle and its people. I was born loving horses, and the interest and passion for them has never waned. It has been one of life's greatest gifts, to share it with beloved horses and those who love and care for them. Those experiences are a deep well of inspiration from which my poetry is born.
Although I no longer do hands-on rescue, I continue to assist and support the efforts to improve the welfare of the horse, and to preserve and protect America's rapidly vanishing Wild Mustangs. Please feel free to contact me if you are a non-profit horse rescue or equine welfare organization, and are interested in using any of my written works or poetry art prints as a fundraising tool.
